Giuseppe "Joe" Favaro departed this world and met our Lord face to face in
the early hours of Thursday November 29, 2012 after a long illness with
Lewy Body Dementia - a difficult combination of Parkinsons and Alzheimers disease.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Lidia - his lifetime companion and loving caregiver in his years of sickness.

He will be deeply missed by his three children Avis, Nando, and Isabella,
his three grandchildren William, Christopher, and Julia, great granddaughter Kaitlyn, and sons in-law Sean and Jim.

Giuseppe was born March 21,1928 in San Giacomo Di Carbonera, Italy.
He was brother to five sisters, Antoinetta, Renza, Maximilla, Virginia, all currently in Italy, and Maria,
and the only son of Ferdinando and Ernesta (nee Bordignon).

He emigrated from Italy to London, Ontario, Canada in 1955 and lived his life there.

A carpenter by trade, he became a construction manager with a reputation for excellence.
Joe also launched his own company - Favaro Contracting Limited - working for three decades,
building government offices, postal centres, homes, and schools.

He was also a prolific artist, sculptor, poet, gardener and no-holds-barred checkers champion.

Visitation will be held at JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London,
on Monday December 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, with a prayer service at 7pm.
